Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Former twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
